The Truth About OSHA Training Requirements

10 Hour OSHA Outreach Training Courses

Have an OSHA-authorized outreach trainer come to your site to conduct the 10 Hour OSHA Construction training class or the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry training class for your group of students.  The 10-hour OSHA training class can be conducted during the week or on the weekend.  Our OSHA authorized trainer is specifically approved by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration’s (OSHA) Outreach Training division to deliver this OSHA training class at your site.

Our OSHA 10 Hour Construction class is accepted by OSHA in all 50 states.  It’s also the course required by state law to work on publicly funded job sites in the states of New York, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Missouri, and Nevada.

The first part of the OSHA 10-hour outreach training class covers a few OSHA-mandated topics, such as a general overview of OSHA, how to look up specific OSHA regulations, requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE), a basic overview of electrical safety, and working surfaces/fall protection.  But the remaining time can be used to address other important OSHA topics in construction or general industry that pertain to your workplace.  So trainees leave the training class with valuable training and useful reference materials they can put to use. The classes are based on the OSHA Code of Federal Regulations for General Industry (29 CFR 1910) or Construction (29 CFR 1926).

All trainees who complete the OSHA 10 hour outreach training course also receive a 10-hour Training Certificate, plus they will receive the official OSHA 10 hour outreach wallet card, to verify they successfully completed the 10-hr course.
